Burlesque
The sultry and seductive art of striptease and vaudeville is currently enjoying a new surge of popularity. Vintage Allsorts has several performers and professional dance troupes that can coordinate specific performances to suit any occasion and will bring life and colour to any event. Among them are:

Belladonnas de Lux
Burlesque sensation, Belladonnas de lux have been causing a stir with their hip shakin’ action amongst Sydney’s cocktail set over the last four years. “Burlesque for the modern world” sums up this trio beautifully. Inspired by original burlesque and vintage cabaret, as well as all things rock ‘n’ roll, their distinctive performances are infused with character, wit and originality.

With an ever-increasing repertoire, Tasia, Lulu and Tulas have performed at diverse range of Sydney’s nightspots, from regular intimate shows at 34B Burlesque to large scale events at such venues as Establishment and the Enmore Theatre.

As one of Australia’s premier burlesque troupes the last year has seen Belladonnas de Lux travel to the Blue Mountains, Melbourne and the Whitsundays. As well as headlining the sold out Sugartime “Absinth Club” east-coast tour and performing at the 2007 Big Day Out Sydney show.

Her early circus training began with South Australia's premier youth circus Cirkids. Amelia had discovered her passion for foot juggling whilst in China on a sport and cultural exchange program and by 2005 graduated from the National Institute of Circus Art with a Bachelor of Circus Arts specialising in Aerial and Foot Juggling. Performing in 'New Breed' directed by Brazilian circus maestro Rodrigo Matheus at the Sydney Opera House in 2005 as well as 'Love Happens' as part of the cultural program for the Festival Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, Amelia tasted burlesque as a performer at Sugartime's 'Tiki Taboo' and was hungry for more.
Since then she has performed at numerous events including the 50s Fair (2006), the Marquee Club's Grindhouse, 34b's Birthday with Belladonnas de Lux and the Elvis tribute night. Most recently Amelia has toured to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney with Sugartime's Burlesque show The Absinth club.

Coco de Mer
Fresh from performing at the sold out Sydney shows of the Absinth Club, Coco de Mer continue to wiggle, shimmy and sing their way into people’s hearts.

When Gidget, a red-headed vixen running from the law and Torchy, a platinum-blonde jazz-singing heartbreaker met on a vaudeville stage the phrase “tea for two” took on a whole new meaning.
These double-crossin' dixies became so close people used to say they were joined at the hip!

Then one fateful day a freak accident back stage, involving glue, sequins and a pint of eau de Mer perfume, threw them together – leaving them in glitter induced comas. When they awoke from their wicked dream they found they had become COCO DE MER. And have since shimmed their way across the stage helping to bring back the era when men were men and women were the devil's you dreamed of.

As well as performing their unique acts on stage, Coco de Mer is able to add atmosphere to your event as ‘Siamese cigarette girls’.
