Bands
We represent bands that faithfully reproduce the feel of the jazz, swing and rock’n’roll eras. These bands make regular appearances at the ‘Wintersun’ rock’n’roll festival on the Gold Coast and ‘Greasefest’ rockabilly festival in Brisbane as well as Australian and international tours.
Our bands also appear regularly at corporate and private functions.
The following bands come under these traditional vintage styles however please contact us with your theme as many other genres of bands are available upon request including latin, salsa and funk.

Flaming Stars
The Flaming Stars cover all aspects of 50's music and the fun side of the 60's, playing classic (and some lesser known but no less groovy) Rock 'n' Roll, Swing, Rhythm and Blues, DooWop, Bossa Nova, Pop and Jazz. They feature electric guitar, keyboards, double bass and drums and all 4 members sing which adds to the variety and eclecticism of their repertoire, enabling them to cover such artists as the Beach Boys, The Young Rascals and Roy Orbison, not often attempted by other acts due to the challenging vocal arrangements.


Torchy And The Chandeliers
Chanteuse Pia Andersen's dulcet tones will tease and captivate you with haunting sensuality. Backed by her ‘swingin’ band their classy sounds and extensive repertoire guarantee to create the perfect mood for any occasion. Blues, swing and jazz for around midnight, nostalgic glamour suave and torching.


Wes Pudsey And The Sonic Aces

Renowned from Stockholm to Los Angeles as Australia's wildest and most gifted exponents of authentic Rockabilly, Wes Pudsey and the Sonic Aces have, over the course of seven years and more than four hundred live performances, earned themselves a reputation for crafting some of the most memorable anthems to emerge from their native country's independent music scene.


Chucks Wagon
Chucks Wagon is an Alternative Country Band from the Sydney, Australia. Inspired by the likes of traditional country artists such as the late great Johnny Cash, as well as alternative country rock bands such Wilco. Keeping with tradition, the songs cover heartbreak, sin and redemption and the hope that only country can conjure up. Chuck has been holding the audience at ransom for 15 years now, releasing independent CDs with roots rock bands Warning, Godmen, Uncle Sexy and recently guitar slung with Deadwood 76.


Ray Beadle And The Vipers
A culmination of five of Sydney's finest musicians (Ray on guitar/vocals with double bass, keyboards, saxophone and drums). Their unique style is an incredible mix of Swing, R&B, Blues, Jazz and Jump-Blues. They feature many originals as well as well known songs like "Jumping at the Woodside", "Zoot Suit Riot", "Little Joe", "Should've been me", "Route 66" along with originals which were written by Ray on his last USA tour. The good time feel of the band is instantly infectious in any crowd situation and with Sydney's huge dance scene. They have headlined many festivals throughout Australia, and played at a host of corporate gigs, weddings and major public events. For even more foot stomping attraction, Ray can arrange a horn section to accompany the band.


The Rhino Factory
The Rhino Factory offers unique entertainment derived from the band member's fresh talent and obvious enthusiasm for their music. The atmosphere this group of musicians creates is unparalleled in its magnetism; the air's electric and the crowd are sure to be swinging.


Satelitte V
Satellite V is a five-piece band that plays Rockabilly, Hillbilly and Jump Blues. They have been playing their special brand of Rockabilly for ten years combining their original music with the authentic sounds of the 50s to create a unique hybrid of Rock n’ Roll. If you like the infectious rhythms of classic rockin’ Hillbilly and cool Rockabilly by the likes of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Johnny Burnette or Roy Hall, then Satellite V will satisfy your need for dancing and rock n’ rhythms. Satellite V have played at many great Australian festivals including Greazefest, the Narooma Blues and Rockabilly festival, and Wintersun, while Tim (lead singer) has featured at The Summer Jamboree in Senigallia, Italy. The boys have released 3 CD’s, ‘Hail Bop’, ‘Satellite Boogie’, and ‘Hillbilly Safari’.


The Bone Daddies
The Bone Daddies was formed by the members of Zombie Ghost Train in 2002 as a platform to play the music that inspired them – ROCKABILLY in its truest form – Rough, Raw and full of 50’s energy.
They crank out their favourite rockabilly tunes in a non-stop, action packed, barn-shakin‚, bull by the horns, bop fest. Performing songs from all the rockabilly greats: Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Charlie Feathers, Johnny Burnette, Glen Glenn and more.


Dan Barnett Big Band
Dan Barnett is acknowledged as one of Australia’s most accomplished and professional performers. His powerful voice and swinging trombone form the backbone of the Dan Barnett Big Band.
Held in high regard by his peers, Dan has assembled a collection of the very best musicians in the country.
Equally comfortable at formal and informal occasions, the Dan Barnett Big Band will add style and flair to any function. Importantly, Dan‚s charismatic presence will leave a lasting, positive impression on your valued guests.
